This is an OEM style instrument cluster foil replacement for 1986-1991. If you're having foil related issues, this is the product for you. Simply remove your old foil, install this foil and you're good to go. Instrument Foil Replacement - Vanagon
I am happy with this product and anything I say here is more of a recommendation to the manufacturer for improvement. The high-beam indicator (blue LED) is hands down too bright, it's just ironic when you're driving and need high beams to see, and in exchange this little blue flashlight is now beaming back at your face. I plan on trying to install some form of tint over it to reduce glare. This is a personal preference but I wish the yellow LED in the bottom right (this is unutilized in most factory Vanagons), presumably left so people customizing vans can use it for something, I wish it was red as well as the others. But that's something I could see someone may want it the other way. This product got my clock working after years of dysfunction, and my instrument lights no longer flicker. Very happy, thanks!

Vanagon Instrument foil
This is a very well made product! It fit perfectly and fixed my oil pressure warning light problem. The replacement foil is very well made. Early in my engineering career I worked where we manufactured flexible printed circuits This is a high quality product.
