The Type 2 sway bar for 1969 and later models (with I.R.S.) comes complete with all the bushings, brackets and hardware needed for installation. Bay Window Buses without the sway bar can have pronounced body roll when loaded down with gear and this addition will help create a more stable ride.
Construction and Fitment
The bar is made of 7/8" zinc-plated steel.
This sway bar kit is not a replacement for an original part, but can be mounted without any modification to the car.
The steel clamps hold the bushings against the torsion tube and the brackets bolt between the spring plate and the trailing arm.
