Our Space Saver Spare tire and wheel pairs Mobelwagen 16" steel wheels with a Nokian One tire (205/60 R16). This combination will fit in the stock Vanagon clamshell and is a good solution for Vanagon owners running larger wheels and tires but still want to carry their spare in the factory location.
We do not recommend this tire/wheel combination for a Syncro spare tire.
NOTE: This 16 inch rim has the internal diameter of a 15 inch rim and does not clear all big brake kits. If you are unsure about whether or not your brake kit will fit, please reach out.
