These durable hose menders are useful for various tasks in an engine conversion.
Sizes available are as follows:
- 8 x 8mm: useful for splicing fuel hoses - especially for a Syncro Vanagon
- 5/8" x 5/8": for splicing heater hoses - in front or rear.
- 3/8" x 1/2": for adapting power steering return hoses to mate the Vanagon to early Subaru power steering pumps
- 1/2" x 5/8": for adapting the power steering return hose to the late Subaru pump to maintain the Vanagon reservoir
