Subaru's variable valve timing engine does not have a fuel pressure regulator attached to the fuel rail. Consequently, a regulator is needed to achieve the proper fuel pressure the engine requires. This regulator has all the necessary fittings for connections to the Subaru and Vanagon fuel lines.
